We were looking specifically for a good basic TV and we hit the jackpot. With the HDMI cable attached, the picture is beautiful, rivaling many TV's that are way more expensive. Some people complain about the sound, but we have had no problems with that. For those that want all the additional features, go ahead and spend your money. I'm really happy we didn't.

TV was a reasonable price. Picture quality is not that great, has distortions when camera is in fast movement on screen. Would like to return but my husband thinks we need the box to do so.. Will contact Best Buy to see if they will except return without box.

I purchased this TV to replace my 2007 LG 42 inch TV, and was blown away by the weight difference! It was incredibly easy to install, program, and use. I was thrown at first by the single button beneath the screen that operates the Power-On/Off & Menu, but have grown to appreciate it's simplicity. If you're looking for a non-smart TV, I highly recommend this purchase.

I replaced my older tv that was 2 smaller and not smart. I really love the smart tv features as it has allowed me to get rid of my Roku. After setup, the smart tv has worked flawlessly. The picture is not as bright as my old tv, but maybe I just need to adjust contrast? I was disappointed that this tv did not have as many input/output plugs as my old tv, but it was also half the price. I had to buy a special cord to hook it up to my sound bar. It has a smaller frame around it and does not sit up as high as my old tv. This makes it look much smaller (even though 2 bigger) than my old tv and my sound bar gets in the way of the remote control reception. Need to find something to set it on to get it higher so remote works better. So far, it is working well. I hope because it is LG, it will last me many years. Other than the issues that I stated, it appears to be a good tv and I am happy to have a smart tv. I would probably recommend that people assess their component needs and the jacks available on this tv before purchasing. Good tv but wished I had known this before purchasing.
