We purchased this in Sept., 2016 and had it installed by Lowes. Terrible terrible appliance. In 18 months the control panel screen is already losing LEDs so you canÕt read it. The upper ice-maker freezes up every 60 days, meaning you have to defrost the refrigerator just like in the old days. Using a hair dryer speeds up the process. The upper tray in the freezer compartment is flimsy and refuses to remain latched when you open the freezer. The refrigerator has side by side trays for vegetables and fruit. But you must open both doors to access either tray. There is an air filter beneath the margarine tray, but no fan to circulate air. Flimsy replacement air filters are $16 each. You will be prompted to replace the filter every 3 months even though there is no apparent air circulation. There is also a water filter. Our water supply passes through a filtration system AND a second filter on our water softener. Our water has already been double filtered by the time it arrives at the refrigerator. AND, we do not use the water dispenser on the refrigerator and probably one tray of ice per month. Regardless, the control panel signals a replacement filter is needed every 3 months. Replacements cost $50!The shelves in the refrigerator waste a lot of volume. There is a small compartment at the top of the right hand door that is useless. It appears to be for a carton of eggs but is too small for a carton. A previous refrigerator had an egg tray with indentations for each egg. Bottom line, poorly designed appliance. Expensive to maintain if you follow recommended filter replacements. Ice maker is useless. It takes you back to the 1950s with frequent defrosting. We will look at other brands in the future.

This is our second Frigidaire Refrigerator and the upgrades they have made are awesome. LED lighting, more storage space, awesome black stainless. Can't say enough about how it updates our home.

I love my new fridge; it took some getting use to of course on where to put stuff in it. It has been working really well. I miss a larger/taller shelf for gallons of milk, but it's nice to be able to tilt the shelf up against the side of the ice maker for that purpose. One downfall I have noticed is I have food freezing when I place them to the back of the fridge. There are small air vents on each level of shelving, and if I have food sitting in front of them it freezes. There is SO MUCH space in the freezer drawer. I am in love with the use of storage I have in there!
